a year agoFood was fantastic and a great amount of food for the money!! We tried the Louisiana seasoning and it was perfect! I am a snob about my shrimp and I have zero complaints!!We used DoorDash and the food was piping hot when it got here which normally does not happen! See you again soon!

a year agoSolid cajun seafood located in Downtown Bastrop. Here you will find in the Chestnut Grove food truck court a number of delicious options. The Bay Bay'z truck serves shrimp, fish, and other options all cajun fried and boiled style. Their seasoning is light and flavorful and the breading is light as well. Very tasty without trying to burn you down. Outside seating is really well done. Clean and nice. Friendly folks with good service.

a year agoI ordered from them on DoorDash a fried fish and shrimp platter and an order of tartar sauce all for $30. They were out of stock on the fish and shrimp but did not tell me or cancel my order they just silently refunded the fish and shrimp to my bank which takes a few days. However they still decided to send a giant bag of tartar sauce to rub it in… which I now have no fish to use it on. Thanks I guess? Here’s a photo of how much tartar sauce $30 gets you.

2 years agoI ordered boiled shrimp, corn, potato, and Sausage boil on Saturday. It was undercooked. I admit I did not check before I left. I’ve always been satisfied with it in the past. I returned to get a 4-piece fish meal with fríes and hush puppies. I only had two pieces of fish and the container filled with French fries. I walked back to the truck and was told the fish was different sizes. Both pieces were smaller than the size of my hand. I wish I had a picture 😣but just saying check your food before you go. And I tipped on Saturday.

2 years agoMy family visited the food truck today at an area where there were multiple trucks. I NEVER eat my shrimp from seafood boils, but I could not stop eating these. I got the number 9 spicy lemon pepper. It was fantastic, and the portion size was enough for me to eat half later. My husband ordered a #9 in spicy honey garlic, and he thoroughly enjoyed his as well. We will be back next time I'm in town for sure.

2 years agoTonight was my first time to order. We had crab, shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes. Wow! The hype is legit. No one spoke during dinner... just lip smacking and "yums" were all that was heard. I give a kagillion thumbs up!

3 years agoI went to the bay bays food trailer out here in bastrop and sheshhhh it’s the best damm Cajun crab legs I’ve had and for the best price we got the Texas size plater and damm I give it a 1,000 out of 10 don’t ever leave bastrop.! I will say I would love to add onions in it next time if possible!
